KINDNESS JEFFERSON COUNTY, INDIANA WE ARE SEEKING BOARD MEMBERS
Help us strengthen our board and build the future of Kindness Jefferson County.
Kindness Jefferson County, Indiana is looking for new and additional individuals to join our Board of Directors as we
continue to grow and strengthen our organization.
Our goal is to build a board of approximately 6-8 active, working members who believe in our mission and want to make a
difference in Jefferson County.
We are looking for people from different backgrounds, professions, experiences, and areas of our community. A strong
board benefits from different perspectives, fresh ideas, new community connections, and people who are willing to work
together toward a common goal.
Board experience is not required.
We are looking for individuals who:
• Care about Jefferson County and the people who live here
• Believe in helping others with dignity, compassion, and respect
• Are willing to be active and involved
• Can bring new ideas and perspectives
• Are willing to help with projects, fundraising, partnerships, and community activities
• Can work cooperatively as part of a team
• Want to help Kindness Jefferson County grow and plan for the future
Experience in areas such as business, finance, education, healthcare, social services, fundraising, grant writing,
communications, churches and faith communities, nonprofit work, or community outreach would be valuable - but a
genuine desire to serve our community is just as important.
We arent simply looking to make our board larger. We are looking to make it stronger.
